Am I an Addict?
Maybe. But one thing’s for sure — you’re human
Addiction doesn’t start with disaster. It starts in the brain — with repeated hits to your reward system.
We can get hooked on anything that gives us escape, control, relief, or a little high: alcohol, porn, sex, weed, screens, gambling...
We’re human. We can all get stuck.
The good news? We’re not pandas.
(Pandas starve to death when the bamboo runs out — because they can’t change.)
Humans can change. That’s our nature.
I’d love to help you untangle the mess — so you can stop feeling ashamed, lying, hiding, and running from yourself… and start living with freedom, true joy, and self-respect.
When we hear “addict,” most of us picture someone who’s lost everything — the park bench, the bottle, the total collapse. So if your life mostly works, you probably think:
“That’s not me.”
🥕 No one gets addicted to carrots. They don’t light up anything — but real connection, healing, and purpose can. Recovery is possible.
Addiction is a process. A slow one.
You don’t have to hit rock bottom to take the first step
And you don't have to see the whole staircase to take the first step. The earlier you get support, the easier it is to shift. But it's never too late. And you don’t need to fit some stereotype to take your pain seriously.
Is it time to stop thinking and start moving?
(Addiction can be mild, moderate, or severe according to DSM-5).
